Parrot

^ A friendly parrot came to visit this morning. I fed him some of our chook seed. He let me photograph him while he ate.

Bridge and river thoughts

Broken

^ Broken egg. I found it already broken on the path during the photoshoot on Sunday.

Tree Painting

^ I took this out the window of the car whilst we were moving. It's of the trees on the way home. I think it looks like a painting.

Lake ~ flowers, bees and weeds

^ We went to the lake in L. It is pretty at this time of year. Flowers and weeds everywhere.
The bee was fun to photograph, he kept on flying to another flower just as I was about to take a photo. I had to follow him with my camera ready.

Pretty lavender

^ It's pretty, purple and lavender.

Two paths

^ The river almost flooding the path. We've had so much rain here lately. The river is swollen with water rushing in rapids down the river. I'm sure that the river would have been higher than this. I liked the two paths crossing.

Lily

^ These lilies grow wild around where we live. We picked a few to brighten up our house.
Taken with my 'new' Canon Powershot SX120 IS. I got it on Friday. Very exciting. It has amazing features for a small camera. Will post specs later. Enjoy the beauty of these wild lilies.

Spring is here! It's a beautiful time of year. Everything is new, fresh and alive. The world is waking up from it's winter sleep and new life is everywhere. I love the pink leaves on the tree. I have seen them every spring since we lived here. I think they are so beautiful and different.

Wow! I'm back....what a journey!

Apologies for disappearing for so long. I've been through alot lately. This is one of my latest photos. I took a whole heap over the weekend which was lots of fun! This was on Fri arvo from my driveway as the sun was setting.

Lovely sunrise

Apologies for no photos for the past week or so. I have been taking photos, just have not had time to upload. I took these photos last week, it was a beautiful sunrise. Where we live we don't get to see the sunrise or set due to so many mountains surrounding us. So it was lovely to see such a beautiful array of colours in the sky, even though I could not see the sun itself.
